Busted: Govt Hospital Staff Ran Conversion Racket at Home, Told Patients – ‘Name of Jesus Alone Can Cure Diseases’
His brothers acted as pastor, his home acted as church
With Rashtra Jyoti tracking the working of soul-harvesting mafias, a shocking case has come to light from Ratlam Medical College, Madhya Pradesh.
A nursing student, also a staff at the hospital, would target patients to join his pastor brother’s so-called faith-healing sessions at his house, for their religious conversion.
Racket was exposed by one of their targets named Kailash Ninama, who gave a written complaint to Ratlam Industrial Area Police Station against Vikram Ninama, the pastor, and his brother Jagdish Ninama, the paramedical staff at the hospital.
Kailash’s complaint said:
That about four or five days ago, his health had deteriorated. He went to the medical college for treatment, where he met Jagdish, who told him that if he wanted further relief from his illness, he should meet him outside the hospital.
A few days later, he again met Jagdish, who told him: “I pray to Jesus, and He listens to our prayers. I will also pray for you. Jesus will remove all your troubles and benefit you.” Then Jagdish met him once more and said that at his brother Vikram’s house in Shivnagar, prayers to Jesus are held every Friday.
On September 5, around 9 am., Kailash went to Vikram’s house. There he found Jagdish and Vikram along with other people. After some time, Vikram held a prayer session inside his house.
After some time, Jagdish, Vikram, Mangilal, and others told him: “You keep falling ill repeatedly, and your illness will go away only with regular prayers to Jesus. Vikram has cured the illnesses of many people through prayers. If you also want to be free from disease, you must pray to Jesus and accept the Christian religion, because Jesus cures everyone’s ailments.”
The accused repeatedly pressured him to convert, the complaint concluded.
Police have arrested four accused and registered a case under the state’s anti-conversion law.
