He was the youngest Chairperson of the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (2018–2024), after serving as Member (Education) from 2015–2018. He is also the author of Pinjra – The Cage, a work focused on children in Child Care Institutions. His public service and ground-level contributions continue to inspire the team at Rashtra Jyoti in our mission to uphold values of justice, transparency, and child welfare. Founder Sanjeev Newar X An IIT Guwahati and IIM Calcutta alumnus, he is a data scientist, entrepreneur, and Vedic expert. He founded Sewa Nyaya Utthan Foundation to educate the underprivileged. His Veda Vigyan Vishwaguru initiative merges Indian wisdom with modern science.
